Building the System While Building the Buildings - KREOD & KREODx: A 2025 Retrospective
KREODx featured in AEC Magazine - November / December 2025 Issue
2025 wasn’t about commentary. It was about execution.
While much of the industry continues to debate AI, BIM 2.0 and digital transformation, we focused on building systems that actually work and using them to deliver real projects.
That distinction matters!
KREODx: From Model to Market
In November 2025, we launched the KREODx Integrated DfMA Intelligent Automation (KIDIA) BETA.
Not as a concept. Not as a demo. But as a working system.
KIDIA automates the connection between design intent, engineering logic, manufacturing data and construction delivery and replacing fragmented workflows with a single, auditable digital thread.
At the same time, we developed KREODx AI, a web-based, AI-powered BoM & BoQ application designed to remove manual estimation, pricing inconsistency and guesswork from early decision-making.
Upload 2D PDF drawings. Generate structured BoMs and BoQs. Produce quotation-ready outputs.
And in 2025, we sold it to our first customer.
This work has been guided by a simple idea:
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” Buckminster Fuller
KREODx exists for exactly that reason, not to argue with broken processes, but to replace them with working ones.

A Single Continuous System
Underpinning both KREOD and KREODx is a simple but uncompromising principle: design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, construction and long-term occupation must operate as a single, continuous system, not as disconnected handovers.
This lifecycle thinking shapes how we build KREODx and how we deliver projects through KREOD, ensuring decisions made early remain valid through delivery, use and long-term performance.

KREOD: Delivery as Proof
Technology only matters if it survives contact with reality.
Throughout 2025, KREOD continued to design and deliver buildings using the KREODx platform, operating as lead architect and as both digital and physical principal contractor.
We don’t develop tools in isolation. We validate them under real-world constraints, programme pressure, cost control, buildability and accountability.

Why This Matters
Across hospitality, heritage, high-end residential and repeatable commercial assets, the same principle applies:
Systems only matter if they can deliver.
2025 reinforced a belief that has guided both KREOD and KREODx from the start:
“Don’t talk. Build.” Mies van der Rohe
That is exactly what we focused on this year!
And it is also how we approach building companies, platforms and projects:
“Dream big. Start small. Lead by example.” KREOD & KREODx
That principle shaped how we built KREODx, by shipping real systems, learning fast and proving value through delivery rather than promises.
